Band 7 – General Radiographers – Stoke-on-Trent

Job Title: Radiographer – Band 7Location: Stoke-on-Trent, StaffordshireStart: ASAPDuration: OngoingRate: £30 per hourWorking hours: Full time, Monday-Friday, 37.5 hours per week

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic imaging procedures including X-rays, CT scans, and MRIs.
• Interpret imaging results together with a multidisciplinary team to support patient diagnosis and treatment.
• Maintain imaging equipment and ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Provide guidance and support to junior radiographers and students.
• Communicate clearly with patients, explaining procedures and addressing concerns.

Qualifications and Experience

• Degree in Radiography or equivalent with HCPC registration.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in general radiography.
• Proficiency in using advanced imaging equipment.
• Strong understanding of radiation safety protocols.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Commitment to continuous professional development.
