Job Overview

Position: Pallet Network Category 2 Driver (HGV2, LGV2, CAT C, Class 2)Location: Southampton / EastleighContract: 12‑Week / Ongoing / Ad‑hocPay: £17.00 – £20.91+ per hour, paid weekly, overtime availableHours: 7 a.m. – finish, Monday‑Friday, ad‑hoc, weekend possible.Minimum experience: 1 year driving HGV2/LGV2/Category 2.

Responsibilities

• Safely drive and operate HGV2 / LGV2 / Class 2 vehicles within the pallet network.
• Complete multi‑drop deliveries and handle palletised goods, ensuring secure transport.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations during operations.
• Ensure accurate completion of delivery paperwork and digital records.
• Provide excellent customer service when delivering to clients.
• Carry out vehicle checks before and after shifts, reporting any defects or maintenance issues.
• Work efficiently to meet delivery timeframes in a fast‑paced environment.
• Assist with heavy lifting and manual handling of goods when required.
• Maintain good communication with the operations team and customers.
• Ensure compliance with the company’s health and safety policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Clean HGV2, LGV2, Letter C, CAT C Licence (no more than 6 points on licence).
• At least 1 year of HGV driving experience, with willingness to multi‑drop and handle heavy lifting.
• Experience with pallet networks.
