Trainee Window & Door Installer

£28,000 – £30,000 + 25 days holiday + pension + full training & progression (full‑time | permanent).

Workshop Recruitment is working with a well‑established manufacturing and installation business specialising in high‑quality windows and doors for residential and commercial projects. Due to continued growth, they are looking for a Trainee Window & Door Installer to join their expanding installation team.

Responsibilities

• Support the installation of windows and doors on‑site.
• Prepare work areas and unload materials and equipment.
• Protect customer properties using dust sheets and coverings.
• Assist with positioning and securing frames during installations.
• Carry out safety checks and follow site health & safety procedures.
• Maintain tools and equipment to a high standard.
• Load and dispose of waste materials correctly.
• Provide professional and polite customer service on‑site.

Skills & Experience Required

• No previous experience required – full training provided.
• Full UK driving licence essential.
• Good communication skills and willingness to learn.
• Positive, reliable, and team‑focused attitude.
• Ability to follow instructions and work safely on‑site.
• Basic health & safety awareness desirable.
• CSCS card beneficial but not essential.
• Comfortable with physical, hands‑on work and early starts.
