Accounts Technician

Our Client is a leading heating equipment supplier. Due to an increase in contracts, they have an opportunity for an Accounts Technician to join their team. You will be based in the office 1 day per week with the option to WFH 2 days per week

Salary: £35,000-£45,000 (pro rata)

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Using Xero for processing all financial transactions
• Bank reconciliations
• Credit control duties
• Monitor cash flow
• Paying suppliers
• Manage credit limits with suppliers
• Accessing the bank account to pay suppliers on a daily basis
• Payroll NI and ROI for 10-15 employees
• Producing profit and loss accounts
• Liaise with external company accountant
• General administrative duties

Person Specification:

• Experience of using Xero or Sage accounting software
• An accounts qualification in either IATI, ACCA or CIMA
