Salary: Up to Leadership Scale; Contract: Interim – September 2026 to July 2027; Start Date: September 2026.

Role Overview
As Interim Head of School you will provide strategic and operational leadership, ensuring high standards of teaching, learning and safeguarding.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support staff across the school.
- Drive high standards within EYFS provision.
- Support pupils with additional needs and ensure inclusive practice.
- Maintain a positive and nurturing learning environment.
- Work closely with governors, staff and families.
- Oversee curriculum delivery, assessment and pupil progress.
- Manage day‑to‑day operations effectively.
- Support staff development and wellbeing.
Ideal Candidate
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Proven leadership experience within an EYFS setting.
- Experience supporting pupils with SEN.
- Strong understanding of safeguarding and inclusive education.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to inspire, motivate and lead a team effectively.
- Passion for early years education and child development.
- Either existing Headship experience or experience as EYFS Leader/Deputy ready to step up.
