Senior Technology Application Manager (HR)

Location: Epsom (Hybrid Working) | Employment Type: Fixed Term Contract – 6 months | Hours: 37.5 hours per week.

We are seeking an experienced technology leader to manage a team of application managers within the HR Applications team at Nuffield Health. The role requires a strong understanding of Workday HCM and end‑to‑end HR processes and the ability to coach and mentor teams to deliver business outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Ensure high‑quality application configurations are delivered in line with product/business goals and delivery cycles using agile methods.
• Lead application managers to work collaboratively as part of a multi‑functional squad focused on delivering business outcomes.
• Run, maintain and improve Workday HCM to benefit Nuffield Health users, including core HR, Time Tracking, Payroll, Absence and Recruitment modules.
• Provide support and service for Workday HCM and other HR‑specific applications, managing customer service related to issues and problems.
• Coach and mentor a team of Application Management professionals, developing standards, innovating and building capability.
• Facilitate internal mobility, shape career paths, recruit talent and promote collaboration.
• Identify, test and champion adoption of emerging technologies in the application management space.

Qualifications

• Proven experience working with Workday HCM, including core HR, Time Tracking, Payroll, Absence and Recruitment modules.
• Additional experience with Workday security, reporting, business processes and the foundation data model.
• Experience in supplier/vendor management.
