Painsley is a thriving and over‑subscribed 11‑18 Catholic College with 1,341 students on roll.
We have outstanding 2025 GCSE results – Standard passes 90% in English, 86% in Maths; Good passes 71% in English, 73% in Maths.
We are part of a Multi‑Academy Trust, a Teaching School Hub and Maths Hub.
We are located in the market town of Cheadle in a semi‑rural setting. We are a Christian community with a caring, secure and disciplined environment.
The successful candidate will be a well‑organised, self‑confident, professional with good communication and interpersonal skills. They will contribute to the learning of students and ensure a purposeful learning environment within the classroom. They will join a dedicated and committed team and receive full support.
Grade 5 (SCP 6‑9) – part time or full time considered, term‑time only plus 6 inset days.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Work calmly under pressure while maintaining a friendly, professional and respectful approach.
- Experience in an educational setting preferred but not essential.
