Learning Support Assistant – West Exe School (Ted Wragg Multi Academy Trust)

Overview

West Exe School, a successful secondary school in Exeter, seeks an enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to join the Learning Support Team as soon as possible. LSAs support students both in and out of the classroom, provide 1:1 support or work with small groups, and help ensure all students achieve the best outcomes and feel safe and secure.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 support and small-group assistance to students in and out of the classroom.




• Motivate students and support their academic progress.




• Contribute to a safe, inclusive and secure school environment.

Requirements

• Previous experience in learning support or a related field is desirable.




• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.




• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and adapt to the needs of diverse learners.
