Role Overview
We are seeking a Regional Research Specialty and Setting Lead for Gastroenterology & Hepatology within the South West Central NHS Research Delivery Network (RDN). The successful candidate will play a key leadership role in the ongoing development and performance of the RDN, providing leadership, advice, and support to research delivery across the region.
Responsibilities
- Lead and advise on the delivery of research within the specialty and setting.
- Support teams in developing and implementing research projects.
- Represent the regional Network in national or regional projects related to specialty capacity, capability and accessibility.
- Act as the vital link between regional, geographically-based networks (RRDNs) and national networks of expertise.
Qualifications
- Evidence of leadership experience in the delivery of NIHR RDN portfolio research.
- Involvement in research in the field of Gastroenterology & Hepatology within a health and care setting.
- Strong communication, organisational and project management skills.
