We are currently seeking an experienced Transport Planner to join a fast-paced and dynamic transport operation. This is a key role responsible for ensuring the efficient planning and execution of daily transport activities.
Shift Pattern:4 days on / 4 days off12-hour shifts
Key Responsibilities:Planning and scheduling vehicles and drivers to meet operational requirementsMonitoring transport activity to ensure on-time and efficient deliveriesManaging driver hours and ensuring compliance with transport legislationHandling any issues or delays and implementing effective solutionsCommunicating with drivers, customers, and internal teamsMaintaining accurate records and using transport planning systems effectively
Key Requirements:Previous experience in a transport planning or logistics roleStrong organisational and problem-solving skillsAbility to work well under pressure in a time-critical environmentGood knowledge of driver hours and transport complianceStrong communication and IT skills
