Overview

Job Title: 3.5 Tonne Delivery Driver

£13.86 an hour with good overtime rate for Sat and Sunday. (Weekly Pay)

Purpose of the Role: To safely and efficiently deliver and collect goods from customers while providing excellent customer service and ensuring all deliveries are completed accurately and on time.

Responsibilities

• Drive a 3.5-tonne vehicle in accordance with road traffic laws and company policies.
• Load, secure, transport and unload goods safely.
• Complete scheduled deliveries and collections within designated time frames.
• Carry out daily vehicle safety and defect checks.
• Obtain customer signatures or electronic proof of delivery.
• Plan routes efficiently and communicate any delays or issues.
• Handle delivery paperwork and use handheld scanning devices where required.
• Provide courteous and professional customer service.
• Keep the vehicle clean and report any maintenance issues.
• Follow all health and safety procedures, including safe manual handling.

Requirements

• Full UK Category B driving licence.
• No more than six points.
• Must be able to start ASAP.
