Lifeguard – Casual – Chard Leisure Centre

Job Overview

Freedom Leisure is a leading charitable leisure trust operating over 130 centres across England and Wales. We are looking for a Lifeguard to work in our leisure and cultural facilities, gyms, and swimming pools.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the best levels of service for customers by maintaining a friendly, clean and safe facility.
• Provide friendly customer service and support to the community.

Requirements

• NPLQ qualification
• First aid at work
• Enhanced DBS check
• Ability to swim competently and willingness to improve if needed
• Understanding of how to relate to customers of all ages and abilities
• Well‑developed interpersonal skills
• Team‑oriented approach, able to work across organisation boundaries
• Flexibility to work as and when needed
• Passion and energy for the leisure industry
• Regular cleaning, maintenance and preparation of areas and equipment

Hours & Salary

Casual, as and when needed. Salary up to £12.71 per hour.
