Frontline Contact Officer – 101/999, Hybrid Role

Dorset Police in Bournemouth is recruiting for a Permanent, Full‑Time DCM – Contact Officer. You will handle 101 and 999 calls and online contacts from the public, using risk assessments to direct the most appropriate help and support with empathy.

Initial training lasts 12 weeks; before training you may work as a triage operator. The role is based at Bournemouth with some travel to the Winfrith site for training, and a hybrid working pattern requiring at least one in‑office day per week.
