Swim Teacher – Freedom Leisure

Freedom Leisure is one of the UK’s leading charitable leisure trusts, delivering inclusive leisure, cultural and sporting facilities across England and Wales. We are looking for a motivated Swim Teacher to deliver swimming lessons and support customers of all ages.

All training and support will be provided – no prior experience is required.

Hours

Casual hours – flexible as needed to meet business demands.

Responsibilities and Qualifications

• Teach swimming to children and/or adults as part of the Leisure Centre’s swimming lesson programme, according to qualification, training and experience.
• Communicate with children’s parents/guardians concerning their development and advise on progression through the programme.
• Assist in the supervision of customers in the swimming pool and surrounding areas, ensuring safety and discipline.
• Demonstrate excellent communication skills and a genuine desire to work closely with customers.
• Have the ability to work with children and their parents.
• Possess Level 2 Swim Teaching qualification (desirable).
• Be able to provide a Welsh language language skill where desirable.
• Undergo a DBS check.
• Have the ability to adapt to a variety of learning styles and provide support to customers of all ages and abilities.

Salary: up to £14.11 per hour.
