Maths Specialist Cover Supervisor

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Maths Specialist Cover Supervisor to join a thriving secondary school in Rochdale. This is an excellent opportunity for a graduate with a degree in Mathematics who is passionate about education and keen to develop their experience working with young people.

Responsibilities

Supervise classes during teacher absences, deliver pre-planned lessons, and support students in maintaining a positive learning environment. Your specialist subject knowledge will be particularly valuable in supporting Maths lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mathematics or a closely related subject
• Genuine interest in pursuing a career in education
• Strong communication and classroom management skills
• Confidence working with secondary‑aged students
• Ability to motivate and engage learners
• Valid enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check and completion of safeguarding training
