Chair of governors

Overview

We are seeking Chair of Governors for Northlands Primary School.

Northlands Primary is a medium-sized school with 210 students. The school is in excellent condition and our recent OFSTED (April 2025) suggested the school had no areas for improvement. We – of course – strive to improve our offer relentlessly and want your help to do it! We are a Local Authority school and proud of what we have, and continue to achieve, in this format.

Responsibilities

• Help to lead and organise other governors
• Champion inclusion, safeguarding and wellbeing
• Support staff and leaders to deliver the best outcomes for our pupils
• Bring your experience, perspective and commitment to our vibrant school communities

What we offer

• A school that is already in a very strong and stable position
• A fully supported induction process
• A very supportive team of friendly governors
• A team of supportive staff
• A wonderful school which is gaining a reputation for excellence
