As the face of Sharpsmart, our HGV drivers are our key workforce, seeing colleagues and customers every day. Driving is important to transport our products, but a pleasant and friendly attitude is equally vital. That’s why we’re hiring an additional Class 1 Driver to join the team.
With regular routes from the Spennymoor plant, digital planning systems and your own lorry, the working days are busy yet fulfilling, knowing that your work is essential to our customers across the healthcare industry.
Responsibilities
- Delivering and collecting clinical waste bins & sharps containers from customers across the Northern region
- Safely unloading and loading the vehicle
- Interacting with customers on arrival to sites
- Ensuring the vehicle is clean and safe to drive
Qualifications
- Full UK Driving & Class 1 License
- CPC certification
- Experience of driving within a similar environment
- A flexible, can‑do attitude with a strong customer focus
- ADR (preferred)
