Rapier Employment is recruiting HGV Class 1 (C+E) Drivers for an exciting opportunity based in Harlow. Whether you’re looking for regular day shifts or night work, this is your chance to secure consistent, long‑term work with excellent rates of pay.

Pay Rates

• Days: £22.00 per hour
• Nights: £25.00 per hour
• PAYE – Holiday pay accrued separately
• Guaranteed minimum 8 hours’ pay per shift

Shift Information

• Day Shifts – Start times between 04:00 and 11:00; Trunking to Stoke
• Night Shifts – Start times between 15:00 and 17:00; Trunking to Scunthorpe; Shift lengths 9‑13 hours
• Ongoing, full‑time work available; Immediate starts

The Role

• Completing depot‑to‑depot trunking deliveries
• Carrying out daily vehicle safety checks
• Completing all transport paperwork accurately
• Ensuring deliveries are completed safely and on time
• Maintaining high standards of professionalism and customer service
• Complying with all Driver Hours, Tachograph, and Road Transport regulations

Requirements

• A valid HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) licence
• Valid Driver CPC
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card
• No more than 6 penalty points (minor offences only)
• A professional, reliable, and safety‑focused approach
• Good communication and time management skills
• Flexibility to work the required shift pattern
