HGV Class 1 Driver

The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well known and industry-leading client based in the Leeds area. We are looking for multiple HGV Class 1 Drivers to join the team.

Run across Monday to Sunday (Ad-hoc, part time, full time)

Days/afternoon and nights

Pay Rate

• Days Bulk – £15.36 per hour PAYE
• Days Trunk – £15.50 per hour PAYE
• Nights Trunk – £17.00 per hour PAYE

The role

• Trunking – Performing trunk runs to the hub.
• Bulk – average of 15- 20 drops/collections, drivers will be required to unload and load the roll cages using tail lift and pump truck

Requirements

• Full UK driving licence with Class 1 entitlement (category C&E).
• Valid and in date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.
• 6 months minimum experience required
• No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).
• Full understanding of WTD legislation.
• Be prepared to undertake a short driving assessment for the position.
• Excellent communication skills.
• A safety-first mindset.
