Deputy Director, Operational Assurance & Risk (Board Seat)

Border Force, a law enforcement command within the Home Office, seeks a senior leader to head Operational Assurance. You will guide a dispersed directorate of ~100 colleagues, set a risk-based assurance strategy, and report to the Director General and Border Force Board on key controls and performance.

This role oversees second-line and first-line assurance, integrity, insider threat, misconduct management, and external audits, delivering improvements and a robust risk register.
