Senior Backend Architect – Autonomous Agent Trading

Alpaca is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design and ship autonomous execution for agents operating on Alpaca accounts. You will shape account-level policy, work with MCP servers, authentication, and risk teams, and drive the control model.

You will collaborate with Product, Compliance, and Risk to define guardrails, implement solutions, and ensure reliability. This is a hands-on, architecture-led role with mentorship and leadership through code and reviews.
