Simulation and network engineer

Overview

In this role you will support the CAST training programme by configuring ABACUS and integrating CIS-enabled systems for UK military exercises. You will work across multiple sites, ensuring systems meet training requirements and users are proficient. You’ll collaborate with military customers, build adaptable scenarios, and help maintain day-to-day IT operations. This position offers exposure to a high-technology defence environment and opportunities to grow within a mission-driven team.

Responsibilities

• Configure ABACUS software for exercises
• Provide ABACUS data to MOD customers for training
• Integrate and configure systems to match training requirements
• Deliver system training to military users
• Provide CAST site coverage and support IT/operational activities
• Support remotely networked CIS exercises across locations
• Liaise with customers to design scenarios and maintain tested processes
• Adhere to configuration and change control procedures
• Attend training and comply with company procedures
• Be available for night work and shift patterns as required
