At The Silver Spoon Company we have a portfolio of iconic brands including Silver Spoon, Allinson’s,Billington’s, Askey’s and Crusha and we have strong ambition to drive growth in the Home Baking,Sweetening and Dessert Sauces categories.
THE ROLE:
The product developer will lead the development and delivery of NPD & EPD across the portfolio of brandedand PL products from concept to launch. This includes, working with Marketing and PL leads to optimiseand scope product briefs, delivering hands-on product prototypes and development, product specification,product showcasing with internal and external stakeholders – ultimately delivering commercially viableproduct solutions to drive portfolio relevance and growth.
THE CANDIDATE:
We are looking for a passionate and motivated individual with a strong interest in food, innovation, andconsumer trends. Organised, detail-oriented, and proactive, with excellent communication, teamwork, andproblem-solving skills. Adaptable and resilient in fast-paced environments, with a strong desire to learn anddevelop. Proficient in Microsoft Office, with experience or qualifications in Food Science, Food Technology,Product Development, or a related field being advantageous. Knowledge of food manufacturing processes,product development, food legislation, and stage-gate methodologies would be beneficial.
