Job Description:

Location: London

Salary: Competitive

If you’re a Property Litigation Solicitor looking for greater autonomy, a genuine opportunity to influence the direction of a growing department, and a clear route to further progression, this role offers exactly that.

You’ll join an established London-based property litigation team with the freedom to manage your own caseload while playing a key role in the continued growth of the practice. The role is ideally suited to a Senior Associate or Junior Partner-level solicitor who enjoys taking ownership of client relationships, contributing to business development, and working closely with complementary teams including Property, Private Client and Corporate.

This opportunity offers a broad and varied workload across both residential and commercial property disputes, ensuring high-quality, intellectually challenging work rather than a narrow specialism. You’ll also have the chance to undertake advocacy on selected matters and work within a collaborative environment that actively supports professional development and career progression.

In addition to a competitive remuneration package, you’ll benefit from a supportive culture, long-term progression prospects, and access to international networking and development opportunities through a global legal network.

What you’ll do

  • Handle a varied property litigation caseload across residential and commercial matters.

  • Advise on landlord and tenant disputes, including rent recovery, service charges, forfeiture and dilapidations.

  • Manage possession proceedings and property-related claims.

  • Deal with boundary disputes, rights of way, rights to light and party wall matters.

  • Advise on easements, restrictive covenants, nuisance and trespass claims.

  • Handle lease extensions, collective enfranchisement matters and beneficial interest disputes.

  • Support business development initiatives and help grow the department.

  • Undertake advocacy in suitable cases where appropriate.

What you’ll need

  • Qualified Solicitor with strong Property Litigation experience.

  • Ability to manage a mixed residential and commercial disputes caseload independently.

  • Experience of client relationship management and business development.

  • Ambition to play a key role in the growth of a developing department.

  • Senior Associate or Junior Partner-level expertise preferred.
