Your new company Hays Accountancy and Finance is representing a large non for profit for an experienced and technically strong Group Financial Reporting Manager to play a key role in ensuring the integrity, accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting across the Group’s UK and ROI operations. Reporting to the Director of Finance, you will lead financial reporting, statutory compliance, group consolidation and financial controls while supporting strategic decision-making at a senior level.
Your new role This is an exciting leadership opportunity for a qualified finance professional who enjoys combining technical accounting expertise with commercial insight. You will oversee the Group’s financial reporting framework, ensure compliance with statutory requirements and drive continuous improvement across reporting processes, systems and controls. Key Responsibilities
- Lead the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual Group financial reporting.
- Manage the end-to-end Group consolidation process across UK and ROI entities.
- Prepare and review consolidated financial statements and statutory accounts.
- Provide technical accounting expertise on complex transactions and reporting matters.
- Oversee balance sheet integrity, reconciliations and financial controls.
- Deliver insightful financial reporting and analysis to senior leadership, Boards and Committees.
- Lead relationships with external auditors and support governance requirements.
- Drive process improvement, reporting automation and finance transformation initiatives.
- Lead, develop and mentor the financial reporting team.
What you’ll need to succeed
- ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent professional accountancy qualification.
- Minimum 6 years’ post-qualified experience within financial reporting.
- Strong experience in group reporting, consolidations and technical accounting.
- Proven leadership experience managing and developing finance professionals.
- Excellent analytical, communication and stakeholder management skills.
- A track record of improving financial reporting processes and strengthening controls.
