DevOps Engineer (DV Security Clearance)

Overview

In this role you design, build, and maintain secure, scalable infrastructure underpinning national systems. You work with developers and testers to optimize delivery pipelines and ensure high-performing environments. Operating in agile teams, you shape solutions, drive continuous improvement, and automate complex processes. Responsibilities

• Design and maintain resilient infrastructure across complex environments
• Automate and optimize CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes
• Collaborate with development and testing teams to troubleshoot and improve delivery
• Implement and support Infrastructure as Code solutions (e.g., Puppet, Kubernetes)
• Enhance system quality through testing and validation practices
• Contribute to Agile (Scrum/Kanban) workflows and continuous improvement

Key requirements

• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Argo, and Rancher
• Strong Linux (RPM/Yum) and package management
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Puppet
• Developer experience in Java, Go, or scripting (Python, Bash)
• Proven ability with Git or SVN
• Experience supporting CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tooling
• Ability to work effectively in Agile delivery teams
