In this leadership role, you will guide governance and reporting for the Business & Commercial Banking segment, delivering trusted insights to senior executives and the Board. You will drive high-profile reporting, synthesize complex risk and performance information, and provide constructive challenge to support decisive action. You’ll oversee governance processes, build strong relationships across risk and business teams, and develop a high-performing team focused on accuracy and impact. Responsibilities

• Lead a team delivering reporting and insight for senior audiences
• Manage high-profile executive and governance reporting for leaders and boards
• Provide clear insight, advice and constructive challenge to support decision-making
• Oversee governance processes for effective control environment
• Respond to requests for analysis and maintain strong cross-team relationships
• Develop the team and raise standards for accuracy, insight, and delivery
• Drive improvements in reporting through data, analytics, automation and AI

Key requirements

• Extensive first and/or second line financial services risk management experience
• Experience producing executive or board-level reporting with clear, actionable insight
• Experience engaging with senior leaders and providing constructive challenge
• Strong data literacy with ability to interpret complex information for decision-making
• People leadership experience with delegation and capability development
• AI literacy with understanding of how AI can support efficient processes
• Automation frameworks experience or understanding to improve reporting
• Data visualization experience for clear senior decision-making
• Regulatory reporting experience in a regulated environment
