Associate Manager – Immunology

Overview

You will lead a lab team to ensure daily, safe, and compliant operational delivery within IQVIA Laboratories’ central lab services. In this role, you’ll hire, train, and coach staff, and coordinate cross-functional activities to resolve workload and technical issues. You will monitor safety performance, drive improvements, and oversee CAPA, quality incidents, and policy adherence. Your work supports rigorous data quality and efficient lab operations across global clinical trials. Responsibilities

• supervise daily activities of laboratory work groups through delegation, training, and supervision
• lead hiring, training, and performance management of staff
• facilitate regular discussions with staff and management to resolve workload and technical issues
• drive safety accountability and identify opportunities for safety improvements
• review laboratory metrics to identify improvement initiatives and cost-saving opportunities
• ensure understanding and adherence to policies, procedures, and compliance by reports, customers, and stakeholders
• oversee CAPA and quality incident resolution, root-cause analysis, and improvement actions
• assist in establishing and revising laboratory policies and procedures; maintain quality assurance and safety compliance

Key requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a Human Biology based science
• 4 years of relevant experience in a clinical laboratory or clinical trials environment (Immunology based)
• experience in technical leadership and cross-functional collaboration
• Proficiency with LIMS and other laboratory data systems
• Familiarity with CAPA processes and quality systems
• ability to analyse and interpret complex data
• ability to coordinate and execute multiple tasks or projects simultaneously
• ability to write scientific and technical documents
• understanding of LEAN 6 Sigma principles
