Blackmarston Primary School, part of Accordia Academies Trust, is a welcoming and forward‑thinking special school for pupils aged 2‑11 with a wide range of complex additional learning needs, including autism and profound and multiple learning difficulties.
We are seeking a committed and enthusiastic Class Teacher to join our dedicated team. You will teach a small class of learners, delivering creative, inclusive lessons as part of our Entitlement Curriculum. Working with a team of Teaching Assistants, you will nurture independence, communication and confidence, helping every pupil to achieve their potential.
Applicants should hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and demonstrate a passion for supporting pupils with additional learning needs. Experience in special education or training such as Trauma‑Informed Practice, PECS, Signalong or Thrive would be an advantage but is not essential. We welcome applications from teachers in both mainstream and specialist settings.
