In this Director role, you will lead a growing building surveying practice within a private consultancy, taking ownership of an existing portfolio and helping shape future growth. You will work autonomously with clients and the internal team, influencing strategic direction and delivering expert, commercially-focused surveying and project management outcomes. The position offers autonomy over your time and engagements and a chance to contribute to the firm’s expansion at an exciting, transformative stage.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage an established client portfolio
• Cultivate and manage client relationships and complex instructions
• Help shape the future direction and growth of the consultancy
• Oversee delivery of building surveying projects with technical excellence
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive commercial outcomes

Key requirements

• MRICS Chartered status (or MRICS expected in 2026)
• Strong technical ability across building surveying
