Overview

As Regional Accountant, you will lead the financial management and reporting for three dealership sites, delivering robust controls and performance insights. You will partner with General Managers and regional leaders to drive profitability and financial discipline. You’ll manage a small finance team, oversee balance sheet integrity, VAT, budgeting and forecasting, and present KPI-driven performance. This role combines strategic finance leadership with hands-on delivery across reporting, cash flow, and commercial decision-making. It offers hybrid working and a strong pathway to shape regional financial performance.

Responsibilities

• Review and finalise monthly balance sheets across all sites
• Produce monthly management accounts with adherence to group policies
• Ensure month-end reporting deadlines are met
• Maintain strong financial controls and governance across the region
• Oversee VAT returns preparation and submission
• Approve monthly payroll submissions and prepare payroll journals
• Manage payroll accruals and expense provisions
• Conduct debtor reviews and manage working capital improvements
• Produce and present weekly and monthly KPI reports
• Lead Weekly Business Review (WBR) from a finance perspective
• Provide commercial finance guidance to General Managers and departmental leaders
• Lead budgeting across all sites and prepare forecasts
• Challenge assumptions to improve business performance
• Develop and coach a team of five finance professionals
• Support audit compliance and performance reviews
