Financial Controller (Luxury Retail Group)

Overview

In this Financial Controller role, you lead the London finance team to deliver robust reporting, controls and day-to-day financial operations. You will steer month-end close, statutory reporting, audits and working capital management while partnering with senior stakeholders to support growth. You’ll drive process improvements across finance systems and controls in a fast-paced, multi-site retail environment. The opportunity offers broad visibility in a high-growth retailer and a chance to shape the function as the business scales.

Pay / Benefits

• salary 75,000–90,000 plus benefits

Responsibilities

• Manage and develop a team of four
• Own month-end close and management reporting
• Oversee statutory reporting, audit and compliance
• Manage balance sheet reconciliations, cash flow and working capital
• Maintain robust financial controls and processes
• Drive improvements across finance systems and reporting
• Partner with senior stakeholders across the business
• Support ad hoc growth projects

Key requirements

• Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
• Strong financial reporting and controllership experience
• Proven team management experience
• Comfort in a fast-paced, evolving environment
• Retail/multi-site experience advantageous
