Re-Gen Group is Northern Irelands leading integrated recycling and waste management business. The company is highly innovative and hugely ambitious.
Re-Gen has recently secured a very exciting contract with Exchange for Change to collect, transport and process plastic bottles returned in Northern Ireland under the UK Deposit Return Scheme. This project will commence shortly and will run for 15 years. Clarendon Executive has been retained to appoint a Managing Director to lead this hugely exciting strategic opportunity.
Reporting to the Group Chief Executive, the Managing Director will establish the operating model, mobilise the team, transport arrangements and data systems, then lead the business through launch and its first years of operation. This is a two-year fixed-term contract commencing January 2027, with handover to a business-as-usual management team by the end of 2028.
The role will suit a high calibre operational leader with strong business acumen and experience building or launching a business or major operation. Transport and logistics experience, particularly route planning and fleet operations, is strongly preferred. The successful candidate will also be comfortable managing a demanding corporate customer and delivering through a small team with the support of group shared services functions. We are particularly keen to hear from operations leaders who have built or launched a business or major operation.
