Pricing Actuary (Financial Lines)

Overview

In this role you will lead case pricing and portfolio management for Financial Lines, with a focus on cyber exposure. You will partner with underwriters and senior leadership to shape pricing strategy and drive business outcomes. The position emphasizes Lloyd’s/London market experience and strong stakeholder engagement to deliver value across the pricing and underwriting teams. This is a high-impact role at a global insurer, offering exposure to complex cyber risk and strategic pricing initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead aspects of case pricing within the Financial Lines pricing team
• Manage and optimise portfolio performance and concentration risk
• Collaborate with underwriters and senior leaders to steer pricing strategy
• Drive pricing decisions for cyber exposure and other Financial Lines risks
• Provide market insights and contribute to multi-year pricing initiatives with senior stakeholders

Key requirements

• Nearly/newly qualified actuary
• Lloyd’s/London market pricing experience
• Strong stakeholder management capabilities
• Excellent commercial acumen
• Experience in pricing or portfolio management within Financial Lines
