Senior Paraplanner

Overview

In this Senior Paraplanner role, you support the advisory team by preparing client suitability reports and assisting with complex reviews. You will gather illustrations and documentation to underpin suitability decisions, and help validate advice in collaboration with the Planner. You’ll manage pipelines, research, and ensure clear explanations of pros and cons while meeting regulatory obligations. Responsibilities

• Obtain illustrations, documentation and forms to support suitability reports
• Prepare draft annual review letters including portfolio re-balancing, drawdown reviews, investments, pension transfers, estate planning (IHT), VCTs and EIS
• Manage pipeline reports and update workflows
• Assess client needs and support suitable advice solutions with Planner guidance
• Collaborate with the Planner to validate advice and proactively challenge where necessary
• Assist the Planner with research and creation of client suitability reports promptly and accurately
• Ensure documentation clearly explains pros/cons of advice and complies with regulatory obligations

Key requirements

• Experience in paraplanning within financial services
