Strategic Legal Advisor

Overview

In this role you will support the Strategic Legal Team to enable efficient negotiation, signing, and management of contracts for strategic customers. You work closely with sales and the legal leadership to steer end-to-end contract processes and supplier agreements. You’ll handle ad hoc legal issues and contribute to the broader legal function while maintaining high precision and independence. The position offers impact across enterprise deals and strategic partnerships within a global IT environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end contracts process for enterprise-level customers
• Support in drafting and negotiation of key supplier contracts
• Liaise with the Strategic Legal Manager and Head of Legal on ad hoc legal issues
• Support the wider Legal team with general legal tasks
• Represent Bytes in negotiations with key customer contracts
• Support and advise the Strategic Legal Manager on ad hoc legal matters
• Support the legal and compliance teams on an ad hoc basis

Key requirements

• Law Degree
• 2+ years of experience supporting an IT business in a legal capacity

• Outstanding communicator
• Ability to liaise with staff at all levels, particularly sales people and sales management
• High attention to detail
• Independence with effective teamwork
• Highly organized and able to plan and manage workload
• Proactive and task-focused
