Senior AI GTM Engineer, AI and Applications

Overview

In this role you will own Claude and AI applications used by RELEX’s Sales organization, shaping how AI surfaces assist sellers and integrating with Salesforce and Cortex. You will design guardrails, human-in-the-loop workflows, and context portability to ensure secure, effective use of AI. You’ll lead greenfield AI initiatives, guide architecture, and collaborate with platform and sales teams to deliver impactful, trusted AI capabilities. This position offers visible technical leadership in a fast-evolving AI landscape and close alignment with sales outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Own Claude and non-Salesforce AI applications within Sales, including plugins, skills, connectors, release cycles, and retirement
• Define how Claude reads/changes Salesforce and related systems, ensuring guardrails are in place
• Design human-in-the-loop workflows and determine autonomous vs human-in-the-loop AI behavior
• Safeguard context portability so tools don’t cause context loss when switching tools
• Drive integration of Claude/AI models within Sales and Sales Operations, including Managed Agents and emerging models
• Own Cortex applications and consult on third-party AI tools to support the integrated ecosystem
• Define how AI connects to surrounding systems (enrichment, intent data, engagement, call recording, content, quotes, signatures)
• Communicate Sales data requirements and security/permissions needs to the AI platform team
• Ensure AI data-handling policy is applied and prompts/models are tested prior to release
• Provide technical leadership for greenfield AI projects and stay aligned with Anthropic and platform roadmaps

Key requirements

• ≥5 years building software with production AI applications
• Strong knowledge of TypeScript or Python
• Experience with APIs, OAuth/identity, webhooks, and Model Context Protocol
• Experience integrating with Salesforce APIs and permission model
• Hands-on cloud hosting experience: deployment, secrets, monitoring
• Experience with data protection (permissions, data residency) and safeguarding what AI can see
• Understanding of seller workflows and judgement-in-context benefits
• Clear writing for decision requests, definitions of done, and documentation
• Track record of getting things done through cross-functional platform/IT/sales teams
