Overview

In this role you will provide global technical leadership and governance for Hydratight Service operations within Enerpac Tool Group. You will uphold engineering standards, competency frameworks and execution methods to ensure safe, consistent service delivery and support complex customer projects. You’ll collaborate with engineering, operations, commercial and leadership teams across regions to drive technical excellence, continuous improvement and innovation. This position offers impact across asset lifecycle, from construction to decommissioning, within a growth-focused, safety-conscious culture.

Responsibilities

• Own and maintain global engineering procedures, standards and work instructions; review and continuously improve methodologies and documentation.
• Provide expert technical guidance to engineering, operations, project and commercial teams globally; review complex applications and propose safe, effective solutions.
• Act as final technical approval authority for high-risk or non-standard applications.
• Define and maintain technical competency requirements for technical roles and support assessment and mentoring of engineers.
• Lead investigations into technical failures; drive corrective actions and standardisation across regions.
• Provide technical leadership for major bids, tenders and strategic opportunities; ensure technical alignment with customer specs and scopes.

Key requirements

• Detailed knowledge of ASME PCC-1, EN1591, EN13345 and AD2000
• Pressure-containing joints and bolted joint integrity
• Hydraulic bolting technologies
• Engineering risk assessment methodologies
• Technical procedure and standards development
• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
• Significant experience in industrial bolted joint integrity and specialist maintenance services
• Proven experience developing, reviewing and approving engineering standards, procedures and technical documentation
• Experience providing engineering leadership and technical assurance in complex operations
