C# Developer – Asset Manager

Overview

In this role you design and build features for a client portal and KYC systems at a global asset manager. You own the full software development lifecycle, delivering robust backend applications and collaborating with stakeholders. You will explore emerging approaches, including AI, to optimize workflows and software delivery. The role blends hands-on coding with design discussions and cross‑team collaboration in a hybrid London setup.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop features for client portal and KYC systems
• Own full software development lifecycle from development to production
• Collaborate with business users and stakeholders to translate challenges into solutions
• Contribute to design discussions, code reviews and technical presentations
• Work with a global engineering team and explore innovative approaches, including AI
• Participate in hybrid work arrangement with occasional office presence in London

Key requirements

• Strong backend C# development skills
• Collaborative with excellent communication and stakeholder management
• Deep knowledge of CS fundamentals (OOP, data structures, design patterns)
• Familiarity or comfort with AI concepts (Claude)
• Degree in Computer Science or closely related discipline with a 2.1 or above
• Experience with any of: React, SQL Server, Snowflake, Kubernetes, AWS, RESTful APIs (nice to have)
