Overview
In this role you will lead a growing construction litigation practice within a respected regional law firm. You will shape strategy and mentor junior lawyers, working closely with construction specialists and the Property Group to deliver commercially focused advice. You’ll handle complex disputes, adjudications and contractual risk, while building a strong network and driving business development. Responsibilities
- Leading on complex construction disputes, adjudications, defect claims, payment issues and contractual risk
- Collaborating with developers, contractors, consultants and property clients across the region
- Developing and growing the practice with support from a strong platform and partnership
- Mentoring junior lawyers and shaping the team’s strategic direction
- Delivering pragmatic, commercially focused advice and building the firm’s reputation
Key requirements
- Senior construction disputes specialist with extensive experience in contentious matters
- Some exposure to non-contentious work is desirable
- Strong network and ability to drive business development
