Infrastructure Support

Overview

In this role you will help ensure the stability and high availability of mission-critical trading platforms within a global infrastructure team. You’ll split time between routine BAU support and targeted optimization, collaborating with traders and platform teams across regions. You’ll work on Linux, Kubernetes and automation to reduce toil while handling live incidents, post-mortems and global stakeholder communication. This is a technically deep hands-on role in a fast-paced, high-pressure trading environment with a clear focus on reliability and performance.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot Linux systems and administer Kubernetes clusters
• Reduce operational toil through Python/Bash scripting and automation
• Provide L1/L2 support for live trading platforms and core environments
• Own incident management and post-mortems, including root cause analysis
• Collaborate with traders, platform teams and global stakeholders
• Maintain monitoring and visibility using ELK/Prometheus and related tools
• Support high-end storage environments and related infrastructure
• Balance BAU tasks with 10–20% time on optimization and automation initiatives

Key requirements

• 3 to 7 years of infrastructure experience in a fast-paced environment
• Comfort with ownership during incidents and post-mortems
• Strong communication skills and sound judgement under pressure
• Proficiency with Linux server administration
• Experience with Kubernetes cluster administration
• Scripting ability in Python and Bash
• Exposure to monitoring stacks and messaging systems
