Associate MEP Quantity Surveyor

Overview

Associate MEP Quantity Surveyor role in a London PQS/construction consultancy. You will work across sectors on MEP cost management, from pre-contract cost planning to post-contract delivery, supporting projects from data centres to stadia. You’ll apply strong MEP knowledge to drive procurement, cost control, and value for money while mentoring junior QS staff. Responsibilities

• Lead MEP QS activities across pre- and post-contract phases
• Perform cost planning and procurement for MEP services
• supervise and mentor junior QS staff
• manage MEP tasks through to project completion
• support projects across multiple sectors (data centres, offices, hotels, stadia, residential)

Key requirements

• 6+ years of UK MEP Quantity Surveying experience
• experience in PQS or as Building Services MEP contractor
• strong pre-contract experience (cost planning and procurement)
• good all-round post-contract experience
• understanding of mechanical and electrical services across building types
• excellent written and spoken English
• ability to supervise and mentor less experienced QSs
• stable work record
