Overview

In this role you will prepare and manage competitive tender submissions for civil engineering and infrastructure projects in Scotland. You will build detailed cost estimates, evaluate subcontractor quotations, and identify commercial risks and savings opportunities. You will collaborate with operations, commercial, and pre-construction teams to support tender reviews and handovers. Responsibilities

• Prepare and manage competitive tender submissions
• Build up detailed estimates covering labour, plant and materials
• Obtain and assess subcontractor and supplier quotations
• Identify commercial risks, opportunities and potential cost savings
• Liaise with operational, commercial and pre-construction teams
• Support tender reviews, bid strategy and project handovers

Key requirements

• Experience in estimating within civil engineering or construction
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, costs and resources
• Experience preparing and managing competitive tenders
