Class Teacher

Overview

As class Teacher you will offer outstanding teaching to a small class of students and lead a team of support staff in the class, including performance management of the Higher Level Teaching Assistant. You must have UK QTS and SEN teaching experience or a keen interest in developing in this field.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, deliver, assess, evaluate and report on pupil progress in line with school policies.
• Collaborate with all school staff to create and maintain outstanding opportunities for students’ academic progress, care and therapeutic learning support, enrichment and life skills development.
• Work closely with students’ families and other professionals.

Qualifications

• UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Experience or keen interest in Special Educational Needs (SEN) teaching or development in this field.
