Construction Lawyers (non-contentious) NQ and 2+

Overview

In this role you will handle non-contentious construction work for a central London firm. You will work on high-value development schemes across sectors, including regeneration, commercial, retail, and housing, for developers, funds, and institutional investors. The position offers a friendly, collegiate setting with a low chargeable hours target, focusing on impactful, quality work. This is a springboard to influence large-scale projects while collaborating across teams in a top-tier practice.

Responsibilities

• Advise on non-contentious construction matters for development schemes (town centre and regeneration projects)
• Handle commercial, retail, sports, residential, mixed-use developments, student accommodation, hotels, and infrastructure
• Engage with developers, funds, institutional investors, occupiers, and occasionally contractors/consultants
• Support site remediation and energy infrastructure projects
• Contribute to delivering high-quality work within a collaborative, low-billable-hours culture

Key requirements

• 2+ years’ experience in non-contentious construction (PQE)
• Strong understanding of development projects and related contracts
• Client-facing advisory capabilities
