Site Reliability Engineer (DV Security Clearance)

Overview

In this role, you will strengthen the reliability and scalability of production data platforms, working closely with engineering and platform teams to boost observability, deploys, and runbooks. You will tackle incidents, improve logging and monitoring, and automate operational tasks to elevate platform resilience. The position sits within fast-paced, client-focused environments and emphasizes collaboration, automation, and continuous improvement. You will play a key part in delivering dependable data-driven services at scale.

Responsibilities

• Support and improve highly available production platforms across cloud and containerized environments
• Manage Kubernetes clusters and Helm-based deployments across environments
• Enhance monitoring, alerting, logging, and observability to improve reliability
• Investigate incidents, perform root-cause analysis, and drive timely resolutions
• Participate in incident response, post-incident reviews, and continuous service improvement
• Automate repetitive operational tasks to reduce manual effort
• Collaborate with engineering and data platform teams to improve scalability and deployment reliability
• Develop and maintain operational documentation, runbooks, and troubleshooting guides
• Contribute to reliability initiatives including proactive monitoring and platform optimization
• Support deployment activities and production change management

Key requirements

• Strong experience in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, Platform Engineering, or Production Support
• Hands-on Kubernetes and Helm experience in production
• Proven track record supporting mission-critical production platforms
• Strong experience with the ELK stack for logging and operational analysis
• Root-cause analysis and incident investigation skills
• Experience with core SRE practices
• Experience with data platforms, analytics platforms, or data product teams is advantageous
• Scripting and automation skills (Bash, Python) beneficial
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code, and observability tools desirable
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to manage competing priorities in fast-paced environments
• Security clearance requirements: current HLC clearance and onsite work five days a week (government/regulated environment)
