Overview
In this role you will lead projects as an Employer’s Agent and Project Manager from feasibility through to completion. You will work within a PQS/construction consultancy and collaborate across a multi-project portfolio, including schools, colleges, residential schemes, and master plans. Expect some travel across the East of England to London and Midlands, with a focus on delivering value and quality for public and private clients. You will shape procurement, contract administration and team leadership while engaging with clients directly and maintaining high professional standards. Responsibilities
- Manage complete project lifecycle from feasibility to handover
- Liaise with clients and stakeholders to define scope and requirements
- Oversee procurement, tendering, and contract administration (Design and Build familiarity)
- Coordinate with junior PMs and a Associate Director/Partner supervision structure
- Supervise and deliver on multi-sector projects including schools, residential, offices, and infrastructure
- Travel across East of England, East Midlands, and Greater London as required
Key requirements
- MRICS or MAPM preferred or working towards
- CSCS card holder
- UK driving licence
- Experience as Project Manager or Senior Project Manager in construction consultancy
- Experience with Design and Build contracts and procurement
- Client-facing skills and ability to work without supervision
- Experience on large residential projects preferred
- Mentoring or managing junior PMs preferred
