Business Analyst – Data & Technology

Overview

As a Business Analyst at Reply, you translate business needs into clear data and technology requirements to guide the design and delivery of data systems. You’ll lead discovery with stakeholders and work with data engineers, architects and developers to craft effective solutions. The role bridges business needs and technical delivery, ensuring data platforms, integrations and processes meet objectives. This is an opportunity to shape data-driven transformations within a collaborative, cross-functional environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead requirements gathering through interviews, workshops, process mapping and current-state analysis
• Document and manage business and functional requirements for data systems, translating into specifications, user stories and acceptance criteria
• Collaborate with stakeholders, data engineers, developers and solution architects to ensure technical solutions align with requirements
• Document data requirements, including data flows, structures, business rules, data quality, interfaces and integration dependencies
• Support delivery through requirements management, Agile ceremonies, UAT, stakeholder communications and high-quality documentation

Key requirements

• 1–5 years’ experience as a Business Analyst
• Strong requirements engineering skills
• Understanding of data concepts (data structures, flows, quality, governance) and integrations
• Effective communication with technical teams
• Excellent stakeholder management and analytical and communication skills
• Exposure to SQL, cloud data platforms, data engineering or AI projects (advantageous)
