Team Leader – Water Infrastructure

Overview

In this role you will lead technical practice in our water infrastructure group, guiding a team of engineers and designers. You’ll help shape projects from bidding through construction, ensuring quality and timely delivery while building strong client relationships. You’ll mentor junior staff, contribute to talent growth, and collaborate across offices to deliver sustainable water and wastewater solutions. Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership for the water infrastructure group
• Mentor and develop junior engineers and designers
• Involvement in project lifecycle from inception to construction support, including bidding, concept and detailed design, tendering
• Ensure quality assurance processes and on-time, on-budget delivery
• Build and maintain relationships with clients across sectors

Key requirements

• Relevant tertiary qualifications & CPEng
• Ideally 15+ years of relevant experience
• Demonstrated experience in water and/or wastewater projects
• Knowledge of applicable Australian codes and standards
• Passion for high-quality work, mentoring, leadership, collaboration, and strong client/stakeholder engagement
