Senior Associate or Legal Director

Overview

In this role you will advise landowner clients on strategic land, renewable energy schemes, and large-scale development, including agricultural land transactions. You will nurture trusted client relationships, support Partners, and supervise junior lawyers within a collaborative Property team. The opportunity offers growth as part of a growing practice with close links to specialists across private property, construction, planning, corporate and litigation. You will work flexibly across the South West or South Coast.

Responsibilities

• Advise landowner clients on strategic land, renewable energy schemes, and large-scale development projects
• Handle sale and purchase of agricultural land
• Support Partners and supervise junior team members
• Maintain and develop trusted client relationships
• Contribute to the growth and reputation of the practice through collaboration with specialists across related fields

Key requirements

• Experience in land development or strategic land work essential
• Clean energy expertise desirable
• Strong technical ability and commercial pragmatism
• Excellent organisational skills
• Solicitor with seniority suitable for Senior Associate or Legal Director
• Flexible location between South West or South Coast
